Our sustainable purses are made from eco-friendly cork leather. While cork leather is 100% vegan, it should not be confused with the well-known “vegan leather” which often contains PVC and other synthetic materials.

All our items are lined in our signature orange, a bright and vivid color. The color is not only beautiful but also practical because you can easily find your items against this background.

bobobark can hold up to 8 kg. However, for everyday use, we recommend that you not carry more than 5 kg to avoid any premature wear and tear.

bobobark comes with three straps: two long backpack straps, and one short buckle strap. By combining one long strap and the short strap, you can create one shoulder strap to wear it as a tote bag.

Bebebark can fit a small water bottle-- up to 500 ml. It can carry a small fan or small umbrella, as well as other everyday essentials!

The metal we use for our products is brass, a solid and vintage looking metal. 

First and foremost, our products are not mass-produced. While we do have a high demand for Laflore products, we refuse to compromise on our ethics. Our handbags and accessories are still handcrafted by skilled artisans using the same high quality eco-friendly materials as always.

We don't use the term artisan lightly-- we only work with skilled craftsmen and craftswomen who are extremely detail-oriented and have experience working with handmade items.

People and nature are the core values of the Laflore brand. Our products are designed in Paris, made from eco-materials (natural cork & recycled cotton) sourced from Portugal, and hand-made by artisans in China who we have been working with for over 30 years. This strong relationship is built with real and good people we call friends, who uphold our standards for attention to detail and the very best quality.  

Our workers earn fair wages and have ethical working conditions. In fact, Elie lived in China at the workshop for over a month to ensure the operation was running smoothly. Our artisans use sewing machines, cutting stations, scissors, screws, and screwdrivers. They never use dangerous machinery.  

Our emerald color is a deep, dark green with blue undertones. It’s a vibrant and unique color, that is flattering all year long!

Our mustard is a dense, deep yellow. With its warm undertones, it is a great match for denims, and brightens up all outfits!

Our cognac color is a deep warm brown, with red and orange undertones. It is a truly unique color, that fits best with blues and greens. It’s perfect for any time of the year! 

We are always listening to your feedback and updating our product colors. Some colors will be part of our permanent collection, while others will be available as limited editions. Be sure to follow us on our social networks to be in the know about new items/colors! 

Shipping

We ship worldwide, to all possible countries as long as you have a mailbox! We are also EU shipping friendly. 

Our average shipping time is between 4 to 14 days to the farthest countries in the world. 

We ship all orders within the EU and to all countries close to the EU, such as UK, Norway or Switzerland, from our logistic partner's facility in Poland. For all orders within the US, and to all other countries, orders are shipped from our logistic partner's facility in the US.

As per our shipping policy, the price of the purchase does NOT include additional duty and taxes that may apply as per local laws of importation. However, we have EU-friendly shipping and also ship directly from the US. 

We work with ITB Fulfillment in Georgia, US and Green Logistic in Poland.  

The shipping fees cover your item's full journey, from the workshop in China to one of our two facilities in the US or in Europe, and from there to you, anywhere in the world. 

Once the order is placed, and if there are any issues with your shipping address, please contact us at natacha@lafloreparis.com as soon as you can, so we can make the changes before the item is on its way. If the item has already shipped, not to worry, we will find a solution together!  

You have 20 days after the purchase date of your items on our website to claim for an investigation on a shipping issue.

Returns & Refunds

You have 15 days from the delivery date of your shipment to request a refund... No questions asked.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. It must contain all the items, tags and any documents included in the original package.

During production we put a huge emphasis on the quality of our bags which is why the end result is top notch. That said, in the process of producing thousands of bags we are aware that some might escape our tight quality control checks.  

If you were unlucky to receive a defective bag, we apologize and would like to assure you that you need not worry. We are here for you and will assist you and if necessary will ship you a replacement.

Cork Material

Cork is one of the most eco-friendly materials on our planet! Cork is both renewable and biodegradable. Laflore’s cork leather is made from cork bark, which is sustainable and actually helps the environment instead of harming it. We also believe in vegan, cruelty-free fashion where no animals are harmed to create a purse.

Cork is a very light and solid material. In fact, it is three times lighter than traditional leather. 

Dampen a reusable soft cloth with warm water and a couple drops of saddle soap. Saddle soap is ideal, but any regular soap you have at home will do just fine. Once you have a damp cloth with soap ready, gently scrub your purse in small circles, paying special attention to any areas that are visibly dirty. All Laflore products are made of waterproof cork material, but too much water will make the cork material unable to absorb the leather cream properly. It’s best to use a conservative amount of water and soap (ideally saddle soap). Make sure to dry your bag with a clean cloth instead of rinsing it, just like you would regular leather. If there is any residual moisture after cleaning, allow your cork purse to completely air dry and don’t place it close to any sources of heat such as hair dryers or electric heaters.  

How will cork age?

Cork will last long and age well if you take care of it properly. However, just like leather, cork changes over time. It is sensitive to UK UV? and will get slightly lighter in color with time. In addition, there may be wear and tear at the corners and in other areas of the item that are used often. All of those signs are natural and can be avoided with proper care.

Cork comes from the bark of a tree, the cork-oak. When cork trees are stripped of their bark, they can absorb enormous amounts of carbon dioxide and release even more oxygen. Additionally, this process helps protect the surrounding biodiversity of the forests.

Cork trees live for over 200 years, they are never cut down, and the cork bark regenerates every 9-12 years.
