How To Clean & Protect Your Cork Purse
Laflore’s signature bobobark and bebebark bags and accessories are hand-crafted from cork, which is sustainable, beautiful and durable. We’ve designed our products to last because we believe the best way to reduce waste is to create a product that can be enjoyed indefinitely.
Protecting a treasured bag for the long term requires simple but proper maintenance. While our products won’t crack or peel like traditional leather, our cork bags will benefit from a regular treatment with a cork moisturizer. As part of our new line of care products, we now offer a vegan cork conditioner with jojoba oil created especially for Laflore bags. Regular application of the conditioning cream will keep the cork leather moisturized and help maintain the bag's supple feel for many years.
THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SIMPLE:
- Apply cork conditioner every 3-4 months, or as-needed.
- Pour a small amount of conditioner onto a clean cloth and gently rub your bag in a circular motion. Repeat until the entire bag is thoroughly moisturized.
- Allow 2 to 3 hours of drying time before wearing again.
- Works best when used in conjunction with our Vegan Coloring Cream.
